The Jan Wojcik Memorial Prize for 2014 was awarded to Brian Embry from Toronto University to enable him to travel to Madrid and Salamanca to pursue research on the notion of a truthmaker and the nature of lacks in seventeenth century scholastic philosophy.

The Wojcik Prize is be awarded annually to enable a graduate student enrolled and resident in a North American Ph.D. program to travel abroad EITHER to pursue research in the History of Philosophy OR to present at a conference or seminar on the History of Philosophy.
