Working the material of an office-based performance, the author of this article negotiates the functional and potentiating relationship that plays out between his orientation to qualitative methodology and Deleuze and Guattari’s usage of deterritorialization. In so doing, the author forwards the neologism of desearch as a means to animate the exaggerated manner in which he embodies and practices research in art education.
