JoHN ARTHOS, of the English Department in the University of Michigan, has recently published The Language of Natural Description in Eighteenth-Century Poetry (1949). W. E. ·CoLLIN~ Professor of Romance Languages in the University of Western Ontario, is the author of an important book on Canadian poetry, The White Savannahs.
