Research in African Literatures regrets the reference to "the late Douglas Killam" in Michael Chapman's article, "African Literature, African Literatures: Cultural Practice or Art Practice," in volume 34, number 1 (page 9, footnote 2). RAL and Michael Chapman apologize to Douglas Killam, who informed us of the error and assures us that he is "not late after all."

RAL regrets that the affiliations of several authors were omitted from their articles in volume 34, number 4.
