Congratulations to the following Theatre Journal authors for their award-winning essays:

Ariel Nereson won the American Society for Theatre Research’s 2013 Gerald Kahan Scholar’s Prize for “Queens ‘Campin’ onstage: Performing Queerness in Mae west’s ‘Gay Plays,’” which was published in the December 2012 special issue on Queer Research in Performance.

Kim Marra received the Honorable Mention for the American Society for Theatre Research’s 2013 Oscar Brockett Essay Prize for “Riding, Scarring, Knowing: A Queerly Embodied Performance Historiography,” which also appeared in the December 2012 special issue on Queer Research in Performance. Earlier this year, Marra received the Association for Theatre in Higher Education’s 2013 Outstanding Article Award for this same essay. [End Page ix]
