University Publications of America will release its first CD-ROM of scholarly book reviews in June, and WAL is one of over one hundred journals contributing material to this innovative service. The full text of reviews from participating history, sociology and anthropology, political science and interna tional relations, and language and literature journals will be available, and the CD-ROM will be updated quarterly. Although the price ($395/year for one of the four main subject areas, or $l,345/year for all four) places this service out of reach for many individuals, it should not prove prohibitive for libraries. As an incentive for subscribing now, all 1991 reviews from contributingjournals will be included in a 1992 subscrip tion.
