Formerly English Department Chairman at California State University, Long Beach, he is now Professor of Humanities and Chairman of the General Studies Department at Western Washington State College. GLOVER, Donald E. (Ph.D. University of Virginia), on a research leave of absence to Oxford, England, this year, is Chair­ man of the English Department at Mary Washington College, Fredricksburg, Virginia. MORROW, Patrick D. (Ph.D. University of Washington) is Assistant Professor ofEnglish and American Studies at the Univer­ sity of Southern California. He has published articles on Harte in American Literary Realism and The Markham Review in addition to writing the Boise State College Western Writers Series pamphlet on Harte. SCHERTING, Jack L.
