Rebecca A. Keck was born in Asheville, North Carolina, but she grew up in Bean Station, a small town in East Tennessee, surrounded by the Appalachian Mountains. Rebecca graduated from Rutledge High School in 2005, and then went on to East Tennessee State University from 2005 to 2008 with a plan to major in business.

Rebecca has always used photography as a medium for her creativity, but it wasn’t until her son was born in December of 2009 that photography really took off as a passion for her. In relating photography and love for her son, Rebecca says, “When I look into the eyes of my little boy, I see all of the beauty and wonderment in the world that needs to be captured and shared with others.” For Rebecca, her way of capturing that beauty and wonderment is through photography. She is lucky enough that sharing what she captures with her camera has become her career.

Rebecca has studied under nationally published fine art photographers such as David Wilson and Pete Michael, and collaborated with many more.

She is an active member of the Morristown Art Association in Morristown, Tennessee. Her latest exhibit entitled, “Distressed” was held at the Morristown-Hamblen Public Library from June to July 2013.

She is the sole proprietor of Fine Art Photography by Rebecca. To expand her business, Rebecca has a website where more of her work can be found: www.givemeagreatbigsmile.com. [End Page 98]
