Timm Lampert is assistant professor for Theoretical Philosophy and History and Philosophy of Science at the Philosophical Department at Bern. His fields of specialization are the philosophy of Wittgenstein in its scientific context, the history and philosophy of color, and logic and foundations of mathematics.

Miriam Solomon is Professor of Philosophy at Temple University. She publishes widely in the areas of philosophy of science, epistemology, and medical ethics. She is the author of Social Empiricism (MIT Press, 2001).

Daryn Lehoux studied History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Toronto. His research interests include the logic and epistemology of ancient sciences, especially astrology and divination. He is working on a book on predictive practices and predictive inference in Mesopotamia, Greece, and Rome. He is currently Assistant Professor in the History of Science and Technology Programme at the University of King's College in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Diane Greco Josefowicz received her Ph.D. in History of Science from MIT in 1999. Her dissertation focused on the history of geomagnetism at Göettingen in the nineteenth century. She is presently an independent scholar and writer living in Brooklyn, NY.
