In lieu of an abstract, here is a brief excerpt of the content:

From the Editors W ith this issue, Poe Studies begins a four-year cycle of rotation in its editorial board, a structure common among academic journals. As we mark this transition, the editors would like to express their gratitude to the outgoing board members who have guided the journal for many years: Eric W. Carlson, J. Lasley Dameron, Roger Forclaz, John T. Irwin, Joseph J. Moldenhauer, John E. Reilly, Liliane Weissberg, and Michael J. S. Williams. G. R. Thompson, the founder of Poe Studies and a longtime board member, will be recognized at the top of the journal’s masthead. At the same time, we would like to thank continuing and new members, whose brief biographies appear on the inside back cover of the journal: Barbara Cantalupo, Benjamin F. Fisher, Lesley Ginsberg, J. Gerald Kennedy, David Ketterer, Richard Kopley, Maurice S. Lee, Kent P. Ljungquist, Leland S. Person, Eliza Richards, Alexandra Urakova, and Bruce I. Weiner.
