Vanessa Hua
Vanessa Hua is an award-winning writer and journalist. Her fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in the Atlantic Monthly, ZZYZVA, Calyx, and elsewhere. She is winner of the 2005 cream city review fiction contest. Her essays have been published by New York Times magazine and Newsweek, and she has worked as a staff writer at the San Francisco Chronicle and Los Angeles Times. Born and raised in the Bay Area, she is a graduate of Stanford University and UC Riverside’s MFA program. She is working on her first novel and a collection of short stories.
