Contributors • JOSEPH E. DUNCAN is Professor of English at the University of Minnesota. He has published The Revival of Metaphysical Poetry, Milton's Earthly Paradise and various articles. DENNIS CARROLL has published articles on Australian drama in the Educational Theatre Journal and Theatre Quarterly. He is Assistant Professor of Drama at the University of Hawaii. HANS-PETER HASSELBACH is working on a dissertation in nineteenth century American literature at the University of Mainz. During the year 1973-74 he held a teaching fellowship at the University of California at Davis. HERSH ZEIFMAN is an Assistant Professor in the English Department at York University , Toronto. His primary field of interest is modern drama and he is currently writing a book on Beckett's plays. E. G. BIERHAUS, JR. is Chairman of the Department of English and Theatre Arts, Warren Wilson College, Swannanoa, N.C. He first appeared in Modern Drama with an essay on A Delicate Balance, June 1974. HANCY BAKER TRAUBITZ teaches English at Thomas S. Wootton High School in Rockville, Maryland. She is completing her doctoral dissertation on American social commedy in the 1930's at the University of Maryland.
