In 'A Life of Struggle', the review of Suchetana Chattopadhyay, An Early Communist: Muzaffar Ahmad in Calcutta, 1913-1929, the reviewer unfortunately misidentified the gender of the interwar Indian activist Nalini Gupta, who was a man not a woman. The error is deeply regretted.
