Ross Bullen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English Literatures at Mount Allison University. He is currently working on a book that examines the figure of the "white elephant" in nineteenth-century American literature and culture.

Nadine Flagel has taught literature and composition courses to undergraduate students at Simon Fraser University, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, and Brock University. She holds a PhD from Dalhousie University, with the dissertation on an international range of twentieth-century novels in English and their intertextual negotiations with slave narratives.

Isabelle Gusse est professeur au Département de science politique de l'Université du Québec à Montréal. Spécialisée en communication politique, ses recherches portent plus particulièrement sur la communication gouvernementale.

Katrina Harack earned her MA from Simon Fraser University and her PhD from the University of California, Irvine. She is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of American Literature at Oklahoma State University. Her main areas of interest include twentieth-century American literature and theories of memory, time, and history, as well as literary ethics. Her work has appeared in the Wellsian and the Yeats/Eliot Review, and is forthcoming in Contemporary Literature. She is currently working on a book project on authorship and ethics in twentieth-century America.

Chad Lavin is Associate Professor of Political Science and Social, Political, Ethical, and Cultural Thought at Virginia Tech. He is author of The Politics of Responsibility (University of Illinois Press, 2008) and the forthcoming Eating Anxiety: The Perils of Food Politics (University of Minnesota Press).

Stuart J. Murray is Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair in Rhetoric and Ethics in the Department of English Language and Literature at Carleton University.
