Editor's Note

In addition to the ATRS Conference papers this issue also contains Lieb and Lieb's "The North American Third-Party Logistics Industry in 2011: The Provider CEO Perspective" in the Industry Notes section. The book review for this issue is Humanitarian Logistics: Meeting the Challenge of Preparing for and Responding to Disaster. The editors of the book are Martin Christopher and Peter Tatham. The book was reviewed by Richard Young.

I would like to welcome Dr. John Bell as a new member of the editorial review board. Dr. Bell is an assistant professor of supply chain management at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His research focus is supply chain network design and risk.
