  • Fiona Shaw Performance at Project Muse

Theatre Journal is pleased to present Fiona Shaw’s performance of Medea in Deborah Warner’s award-winning Abbey Theatre’s production of Euripides’ tragic play in this issue’s performance video archive. This production of Medea was first produced in Dublin in 2000 and was presented at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in the fall of 2002 as the opening production of its 20th Next Wave Festival. After a short US tour, Medea transferred to Broadway last December for a limited run.
