Announcements Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Yad Vashem The International Center for Holocaust Studies of Yad Vashem is involved in the organization ofinternational research projects and international conferences. The Center invites academics with excellent qualifications to submit their candidacy for semesterlong or annual scholarships in Holocaust research, subject to the following conditions: A) two recommendations by reputable academics are required; B) a detailed research proposal must be submitted; C) Yad Vashem has to be one of the main, or the main, source of archival and other material for the suggested research; D) the researcher has to be present at Yad Vashem for at least two days a week and participate in the regular meetings of the Center's research scholars; and E) Yad Vashem will have first option for publication of the completed research work. Scholarships will be granted both to post-doctoral researchers at the beginning of their career and to well established senior academics in the field. Scholarships will be granted for either one or two, not necessarily consecutive, semesters. The Center will provide a room, basic secretarial help (not research assistants), a computer, and extensive help in locating archival and other materials.
