Shofar is published by the Midwest Jewish Studies Association and the Jewish Studies Program at Purdue University. Scholarly and pedagogical articles are invited. Because of the wide range of diverse disciplines embraced by the fields of literary interpretations of the Hebrew Bible apd Jewish Studies, Shofar favors material written for the general intelligent reader rather than a subgroup of specialists.
