Briefer Notices Pendle Hill Seeks Applicants for Scholarships Pendle Hill is requesting applications for 1997-1998 scholarships. The Henry J. Cadbury Scholarship is awarded to a Quaker scholar with serious interest in Quaker faith, practice or history, to work on a research project benefiting the larger Religious Society ofFriends. Covers three terms of tuition, room and board at Pendle Hill. The Kenneth Carroll Scholarship is awarded for one term ofstudy in Bible and Quaker faith and practice. Other scholarships are available for people working in education or peace, or showing leadership in the Religious Society of Friends.
