CONTRIBUTORS O M Brack, Jr., is a Professor of English at Arizona State University. He has written on biography, bibliography, printing and publishing history, and textual criticism. He serves on the Editorial Committee for the Yale Edition of the Works of Samuel Johnson, and is editing the early biographies for the edition. In addition, he is textual editor for an edition of the works ofTobias Smollett published by the University of Georgia Press. Enrique A. Giordano is an Associate Professor of Spanish at the University of Cincinnati.
