ANNOUNCEMENTS Ben Jonson Journal The University of Nevada Press introduces the first issue of the Ben Jonson Journal. This annual review is devoted to the study of Ben Jonson and the culture in which his manifold literary efforts thrived. Subject matter will include the following: poetry, theatre, criticism, religion, law, the court, the curriculum, medicine, commerce , the city, and the family life of the Renaissance, as well as the manifestation of these and other concerns in Renaissance life and culture generally. Articles and notes concerning Jonson and/or the age in which he thrived are welcome. Furthermore, $250 will be awarded for the best article submitted each year.
