From the Secretariat . . . Plans for the 1975 meeting in Denver are well under way, and all signs point to a particularly stimulating and well-attended reunion. Representatives from the University of Denver, the host institution, have completed negotiations with the Cosmopolitan Hotel which is located in the downtown metropolitan area. The program has been enriched by the addition—on a trial basis—of the following new offerings : a section on literary criticism emphasizing current analytical techniques; a meeting on other Germanic literatures featuring papers on Dutch, Scandinavian, and Yiddish topics; a special symposium on science fiction. Furthermore, the German section has been split into two, with 1832 (Goethe's death) serving as the dividing date. For complete information on the program, consult the "call-for-papers" flyer sent to members in early January. A Faculty Exchange is presently being organized for the 1975 convention . Further details of the Faculty Exchange are listed on page 48 of this issue ofthe Review. It is my pleasure to announce the results of the recent RMMLA election. Professor Jack E. Professor Frances Hernández (English), UTEP, was selected delegate-at-large for a three-year period. Our congratulations to both of them. I hope to see you in Denver on October 16-18.
