NEWSLETTER The results of the mail balloting of RMMLA members have now been tabulated . Professor Richard Cummings is the new president-elect of the RMMLA, and Professor Marie-France Hilgar is the new member-at-large. Professor Cummings replaces Professor John Lindberg, our past president, and Professor Hilgar replaces Professor Robert Helbling, our retiring member-at-large. We welcome Professors Cummings and Hilgar to their new posts, and the Association 's thanks for dedicated service go with Professors Lindberg and Helbling. Opinion was divided (xmceming the advisability of expanding the length of the annual meeting to two full days and the format that such expansion should take. The executive board, on the basis of the membership's vote, decided experimentally to expand the meeting to two full days, from Friday morning through Saturday afternoon, beginning with the El Paso (1974) meeting. The 1973 meeting at Laramie will continue according to the traditional format of one and one-half days, from Friday morning through Saturday noon. 31 ...
