Nolan is on leave for summer and fall as the recipient of a Faculty Fellowship from the University of Colorado where he is Assistant Professor of English and Comparative Literature. Acting in his stead is James K. Folsom, Professor of English at the University of Colorado. Folsom (B.A., Northwestern University; Ph.D., Princeton University) served as Assistant Professor of English and American Studies and as Dean of Saybrook College at Yale University until 1968, when he came to Colorado. While at Yale he was named Magister Bibendi by the Saybrook College Fellowship and was a member of the OLD Fellows' Athletic, Reading and Tea Society. Folsom is the author of numerous books, including Mans Accidents and God's Purposes (1963), Timothy Flint (1965), The American Western Novel (1966), and Harvey Fergusson (pamphlet, 1969), as well as co-editor of The American Literary Record (1961) and editor of Timothy Flint, Biographical Memoir of Daniel Boone (1967). ...
