Paul B. Brown graduated with an M.A. in history from Southern Illinois University in 1999. He has served with the United States Air Force and worked with the Presidential Advisory Commission on Holocaust Assets in the United States. Mr. Brown is a member of the historical research staff of the Nazi War Criminal and Japanese Imperial Government Records Interagency Working Group, a task force established to implement the Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act. He is preparing a biography of Wilhelm Krichbaum, chief of the Geheime Feldpolizei.

Peter Hayes is Theodore Z. Weiss Professor of Holocaust Studies at Northwestern University. A graduate of Yale and Oxford Universities and Bowdoin College, he is author of Industry and Ideology: IG Farben in the Nazi Era (1987) and "Arisierung" im Nationalsozialismus: Volksgemeinschaft, Raub und Gedächtnis (2000). He is also editor of Lessons and Legacies III: Memory, Memorialization, and Denial (1999). Professor Hayes was the 1997-98 J. B. and Maurice C. Shapiro Senior Scholar-in-Residence at the Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. He is a member of the Academic Committee of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council.

Katharina von Kellenbach is Associate Professor of Religious Studies at St. Mary's College of Maryland. Her publications include Anti-Judaism in Feminist Religious Writings (1994) and articles on the first ordained female rabbi, Regina Jonas of Berlin (1902-1944). She is co-editor of Zwischen-Räume: Deutsche Feministische Theologinnen im Ausland (2001) and of Von Gott Reden im Land der Täter: Theologische Perspektiven der dritten Generation nach der Shoah (2001). Professor von Kellenbach is studying Christian attitudes towards the prosecution of Nazi perpetrators.

Susan Zuccotti received her Ph.D. in modern European history from Columbia University. She is author of The Italians and the Holocaust: Persecution, Rescue, and Survival (1987), which received in the United States the National Jewish Book Award for Holocaust Studies and in Italy the Premio Acqui Stori-Primo Lavoro; The Holocaust, the French and the Jews (1993); and Under His Very Windows: The Vatican and the Holocaust in Italy (2000), which won the National Book Award for Jewish-Christian Relations and the Sybil Halpern Milton Memorial Prize of the German Studies Association. Dr. Zuccotti has taught at Barnard College and Trinity College.
