Erratum

Perspectives in Biology and Medicine regrets that there is an error in the Spring 2011 issue in Annemarie Jutel’s article “Classification, Disease, and Diagnosis.” On p. 193, the first sentence below the head “John Graunt (1620–1674)” should read: “John Graunt’s Natural and Political Observations, published in 1662, is credited—by, amongst others, the ICD-10—as the first modern disease-classification document.”
