His essays will appear in the forthcoming Approaches to Teaching Early American Literature and the Dictionary of Literary Biography volume on American Women Prose Writers to 1820. He also co-edits the journal Post Identity. Allan hepburn has published articles on James Joyce, Joseph Conrad , opera, Joan of Arc, contemporary Canadian writing, and other subjects. He is completing a book on twentieth-century espionage fiction. joe karaganis is a research associate in the Sociology Department at New York University. He has written on nationalism, naturalism, and modernism in American literature. George toles is Professor of English at the University of Manitoba, and a professional screenwriter, whose most recently produced script was Twilight of the Ice Nymphs, directed by Guy Maddin. He has almost completed a book about "family matters" in literature and film. robin BLYN is an Assistant Professor of English at Westfield State College.
