Psalm

Psalm Happy is the man who doesn't feel compelled to watch the television and to make all the violence and ignorance in the world a matter of his concern. He delights in the grace of the Lord: in a cool summer dawn, in a long, gentle rain, in a ewe that lambs healthy, by herself, in tomatoes that redden under the leaves when he didn't think they were turning yet. His soul is a patch of corn planted on good bottomland after the last flooding rain of spring, the tallest green corn that doesn't have insect problems and doesn't suffer from too much heat.
