Gore Hotel (Clarksburg, WV) It's the same dream as I walk through the cream double doors to the green lobby with its polished tile floors, worn carpets. Beneath Governor Howard Gore's portrait, a white mantel that has never had a fire and beyond it, the plate glass window facing Main Street where people pass like fish. In the far corner, the black and white TV plays game shows as the sun moves across the floor.
