CONTRIBUTORS TO THIS ISSUE Marvin R. Cain is professor of history at the University of Missouri-Rolla. He is currently working on a study of the Attorney General's office, 1789-1870. Howard C. Westwood is with the law firm of Covington & Burling in Washington, D.C. His article on Powell Clayton appeared in the September 1980 issue of Civil War History. Todd. L. Savitt teaches history of medicine and medical humanities at the University of Florida. Joseph A. Fry is associate professor of history at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
