Abstract

In an unusual poetic text by Wilson Bueno, Mar paraguayo, the author finds the elements to construct a new type of narrative that may prevail over the identity narrative as well as the post-autonomous manifestations of textual production. He focuses on language as the core of any social reflection on account of the linguistic-ethnic confluence that underpins it. Literary production is once more constituted here as a site of social and political interrogation yet addressing ethnic questions as well.
