Mama, you told me
I was possessed with the devil
you pray the lord will loose me
I pray you open your eyes pass
your five inch Gideon bible
pass the holy vision in you coca-cola lenses

Mama, you remind me
of the story Uncle told me
laughing real hard, I don't feel nothin'
as devilish as I am, Numb is my best friend
I guess we all got to hold onto somethin'

Mama, I try to tell you
how it feel when Uncle sweeps
fingers across that button in my special parts
with Jesus hung above this bed lookin' down
I suppose, Uncle is loving the devil in me
