Meerse, a member of the history faculty at the State University of New York College at Fredonia, was the first recipient of the Civil War Round Table Graduate Fellowship Award. Hugh G. Earnhart is an assistant professor of history at Youngstown University. Colonel Howard V. Canan, a graduate of the United States Military Academy, has, since his retirement, published several articles on Civil War intelligence and guerrilla warfare. Ada M.
