FILM & HISTORY NEWS FILM & HISTORY CELEBRATES 10TH ANNIVERSARY The annual meeting of the Historians Film Committee is scheduled to take place' this December 29 in Los Angeles California at the Bonaventure Hotel. This meeting, occuring as usual concurrently with the A. H. A. Convention, will mark the completion of ten years of publication for Film & History (note: in 1971 the Committee issued Volume I of a newsletter which was transformed into a journal format with Volume II and titled Film & History). This year, the Committee is pleased to present a screening and discussion of Television's Vietnam a new film/videotape produced by David Culbert, Louisiana State University, and Peter C. Rollins, Oklahoma State University. The film deals with the realities of the Vietnam War (concentrating on the 1968 TET offensive and the Battle of Khe Sanh) and the image of the war broadcast to America by television news. The film is most effective in highlighting issues which should be of central concern to all scholars interested in film and television media. Both producers will be présent to participate in the discussion. The session is scheduled for 11:45 a.m. -1:45 p.m. in the Bonaventure - Sacramento room. P, C. A.
