FILMS & HISTORY NEWS CALL FOR PAPERS "Culture and the Technology of Mass Communications: Historical Relationships " is the theme for the annual conference of the Eastern Mass Media Historians Group, to be held March 18, 1983, at Syracuse University. Parent organization of the group is the History Division, Association for Education in Journalism. Those interested should submit a 500-800 word proposal plus brief curriculum vitae to the program chair, Catherine L.
