Lattimore, on New York Syncopated Orchestra letterhead (Will Marion Cook, conductor), 26 Cortlandt Street, New York, reading in part: "This is to certify that ____________ applicant for American passport is a member of the above named orchestra, which is contracted to Andre Charlot of London, England, for a series of concerts in Great Britain, covering a period of six months, and due to sail from this country on or about May 10th, 1919. The above named applicant is duly entered in the said contract, copy of which will be presented through the New York Department. P.S. The orchestra is composed of musicians from New York and Chicago."
2. Accompanied by letter from G. W. Lattimore, on New York Syncopated Orchestra letterhead (Will Marion Cook, conductor), 26 Cortlandt Street, New York, reading: "The accompanying applications of ____________ for American passports: All are members of the New York Syncopated Orchestra for a series of concerts in London, England, under management of Andre Charlot. These concerts will extend over a period of six (6) months."
3. Accompanied by letter from G. W. Lattimore, on New York Syncopated Orchestra letterhead (Will Marion Cook, conductor), 26 Cortlandt Street. New York, reading in part: "This is to certify that the accompanying application of ____________ for American passport is a member of the New York Syncopated Orchestra, which is under contract to give a series of concerts covering a period of not more than six months in London, England, under the management of Andre Charlot, after which time it is the intention of said organization to return to this country. . . . Under the contract, passage, from and returning to the United States is deposited with a local steamship company. Reservation has been secured and the orchestra is booked to sail on the steamer Baltic leaving the port of New York, May, 15th."
4. Accompanied by letter as before, except that "Reservation has been secured and the orchestra is booked to sail on the steamer Northland, leaving the port of Philadelphia, May 31st."

Lattimore, after which time it is the intention of the said band to return to this country. . . . Under the contract, he/they is/are to leave as soon as their passports are granted and reservation can be procured."
10. Accompanied by letter from George W. Lattimore, business manager, per Robert P.Lattimore, on New York Syncopated Orchestra Players and Singers letterhead (Management George W. Lattimore; American Tour directed by Edward A Braden) 26 Cortlandt Street, New York, reading in part: "This is to certify that ____________ applicant for an American passport has been engaged to play with the New York Syncopated Orchestra, which is now under contract and playing at the Philharmonic Hall, London, England for a period covering about six months, under the management of George W. Lattimore, after which time it is the intention of the said band to return to this country. ____________ is to take the place of one of the artists already with the orchestra. As this is his means of livelihood and support and it is absolutely necessary for the orchestra to have him at the earliest possible date, I respectfully urge your favorable and prompt approval of the attached application."
