Professional Preparation of "Parent Educators": A Survey and Recommendations

A survey of university programs training teachers of the deaf was done to identify curricula in the area of the professional preparation of parent educators. The majority of the respondents that offered courses in this area focused on parents of very young deaf children. Needs are identified and recommendations developed based on the survey information.
