Abstract

The Educational Media Production Project for the Hearing Impaired (EMPPHI) is involved in the adaptation and development of instructional materials for hearing-impaired students in the areas of concept development and decision making skills. After a comprehensive search and an extensive materials review, four products were selected for adaptation and two for development in each of two successive years. The evaluation process is a two-phase procedure of professional product review and field testing. EMPPHI also conducts an annual Symposium.
