Schools and Programs in the U. S. Introduction Information on schools and programs enrolling deaf and hard of hearing chilciren and youth in the United States is provided in two sections. These sections are: 1. Directory Listing for 2000 (pages 80 - 129) — alphabetized by state and city, this listing includes program name, address, telephone numbers, administrator or contact person, and, in some cases, an email address and/or a web site address. methodology used in the classroom. These sections report the programs and services information supplied by the schools on the 2000 Reference Issue Program Questionnaire. The listing is by state, and for each state the programs are listed alphabetically within each of the three categories used in the Directory Listing: schools (residential and day), local programs, and other facilities. 2. Program and Services Chart for 2000 (pages 130 - 157) — The following categories, definitions, and abbreviations apply to alphabetized by state and program name, this chart provides in- the "Programs and Services Chart." (A blank cell in this chart information on each of the programs in the directory, including dicates the school did not report this information.
