Indianités francophones: Kala Pani Narratives

Kala pani literary narratives chronicle the history of indenture and the experiences of indentured Indians. Les indianités francophones nevertheless remain absent in postcolonial literature and theory, even though this experience has led to the formulation of important literary narratives and theoretical discourses on identity such as coolitude and indianité.
