For this year, the sections are: 1. Directory Listing for 1993-94 (page 175)—provided below, includes program name, address, telephone number, and administrator . 2. Program and Services Chart for 1993-94 (page 215)—information on each of the programs in the directory, including program type (residential/day; tuition/no tuition), number of students enrolled, services offered (e.g., parent-infant program , continuing education), and communication methodology used in the classroom. These first two sections present data collected in a special Annals Reference Issue survey, conducted in October and November 1993, by the Center for Assessment and Demographic Studies (CADS) at Gallaudet University for the 1993-94 school year. 3. "Inclusion or exclusion? Deaf students and the inclusion movement"—data from the 1992-93 Annual Survey of Hearing Impaired Children and Youth. Note: Listing is in alphabetical order by state and city. American Annals of the Deaf Schools and Programs in the U.S. Directory Listing This listing provides directory information on U.S. schools and programs for preschool, elementary, and secondary children who are deaf or otherwise hearing impaired.
