34 BIBLIOGRAPHIES, NEWS, AND NOTES Compiled and Edited by H. E. Gerber and E. S. Lauterbach In this section of our last number In Volume 5 ('962), we once more summarize what we have published in the past five years on the authors regularly listed. The items previously published on each author are totalled for each number in which the individual author's name appeared; articles we have published in EFT on specific authors are named and the numbers in which they appeared are given. We are continuing to compile and annotate items on the forty or more authors we have recently been listing. We hope to have our present backlog of about 500 annotations finished in time for the first number (probably about March 1S63) of ENGLISH LITERATURE IN TRANSITION. In the meantime, work also proceeds on many writers whose names we shall gradually add as annotated bibliographies are completed. We continue to welcome assistance from scholars interested in of the period. Since we are vastly expanding the scope of EFT continue to assign many major figures and groups of minor figu scholars, from among whom we shall appoint some of the members and Bibliography Committee.
