Mr. Fletcher was the recipient of a literary scholarship to attend Ruskin College and he has studied music at Partington Hall. Among his musical compositions are "The Puppet Dance," D. M. Ltd., presented to H. M. the Queen for her children; "Dorset Elegy," an orchestral work dedicated to the Tolpuddle martyrs; and "The Eirds are Singing for You," a Dorset love song, Falcoln Records (Tumbleweed).
