Y. Z. Kami

Y. Z. Kami, a native Tehran, Iran, studied at the University of California (Berkeley) and the Sorbonne (Paris). He has exhibited in such visual art sites as the Museum of Modern Art, Deitch Projects (1998, 1999, 2001), the 52nd Venice Biennale (2007), the Parrish Museum of Art, and the Istanbul Biennial (2005). He lives in New York City.

Athir Shayota

Athir Shayota, born in northern Iraq in 1968, is a painter who lives in New York City. In 1992, he received an MFA from Washington University in St. Louis. He has exhibited his work in a number of group and solo shows in art institutions across the United States, including the Detroit Institute of the Arts, Cooper Union Humanities Gallery, Arab American National Museum, the Bridge Gallery (Chelsea), and, most recently, at the Jerusalem Fund Gallery (Washington, DC).
