John McDermott, Texas A & M, is the general editor, and Elizabeth Berkeley, Charlottesville, VA, is the associate editor. The series is to be published by Harvard University Press. Everyone is encouraged to examine libraries and private collections. Special attention should be paid to presidential and faculty papers in archives of colleges and universities.
