Abstract

The Undergraduate Library at the University of Washington combined its reference and computer support desks into one service desk. Librarians are in disagreement on the advantages of this service, and in this article two librarians highlight benefits and drawbacks to the new service. Suggestions for improvement and advice for those considering such a collaboration are included.
