  • New Editorial Team

Wayne State University Press is pleased to announce the new editorial team for Human Biology. Evelyne Heyer has been chosen as the new Editor-in-Chief, Franz Manni as Executive Editor, and Guido Barbujani as Associate Editor. Their responsibilities and tasks will be largely overlapping. The new editors began their work with the current issue of the journal (October 2008).

Human Biology publishes original scientific articles, brief communications, letters to the editor, review articles, and book and software reviews on the general topic of biological anthropology. Under the new editorial team, the journal will reconcentrate its focus on understanding human biological variation and human evolution through a broad range of approaches (e.g., human population genetics, evolutionary and genetic demography, quantitative genetics, evolutionary biology, ancient DNA studies, biological diversity interpreted in terms of adaptation, and interdisciplinary research concerning cultural diversity).

Human Biology is also the official publication of the American Association of Anthropological Genetics (AAAG) ( http://aaag.sfbrgenetics.org/ ), an educational and scientific organization founded in 1994.

All manuscripts should be submitted by e-mail tohuman.biology@mnhn.fr. For other mailing needs, the address of the editorial office is Human Biology, Nancy Wise, Musée de l’Homme, 17 place du Trocadéro, 75116 Paris, France.
