The elephant goes marching byThe stumbling beast of societyWe swing our shovels to its stepsIn the shadow of its massive rear

We are analysts and we clean upBut we falter, our work never endsWhy the plop, plop of society's beat?Why the stench of the beast's great bowels?

Surely there is moreWe promised so much

Maybe we need a new beast
