Stan Done
Romania, Illustrator
Stan Done was born in Giurgiu in 1937. He studied at the Institut d'Arts Plastiques in Bucharest.
He has illustrated many books by authors both for adults and for children. For children he has specialised in illustrating works by classic authors including Charles Dickens, Carlo Collodi and L Frank Baum.
For his work he has won many awards and has participated in exhibitions in Romania and internationally. His work is on display in galleries in a number of countries, including Italy, France, Singapore, Canada and the United States.
