Moving picture fiction of the silent era, 1895–1928

This annotated bibliography is the first to survey moving picture fiction of all lengths and types in the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, America and elsewhere during the silent era. Previous attempts to document film-related fiction have mainly limited themselves to American fiction from 1912 onward and are primarily limited to novels. Many of the fiction works in this bibliography are described for the first time. Includes illustrations.
